Grateful people tend to be grateful regardless of whether special events happened in their day or not.  In other words,
they did not just have moments of gratefulness, but grateful attitudes.  Gratefulness is a choice.

An "attitude of gratitude" promotes cheerfulness, a sense of well-being, satisfaction and contentment.  Put things into perspective, count your blessings and give thanks!

This Week's Featured Recipe:  Peanut Butter Pumpkin Soup

This fall soup is a tummy pleaser with its velvety smooth texture and rich taste

  4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  4 cups pumpkin puree (we recommend Farmers Market Organic brand canned   
  pumpkin) or fresh
  2 cups pureed sweet potatoes (we recommend Farmers Market Organic brand canned
   sweet potato)
  1 cup organic creamy peanut butter
  6 cups organic chicken or turkey broth
  1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  1 tsp. salt
  Chopped chives (garnish)
  Sour cream (garnish)

 Melt butter in a soup pot over medium heat. Stir in pumpkin, sweet potatoes and peanut butter. Add broth, pepper and salt; stir well until smooth. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. To serve, garnish soup with chives and sour cream.  Serves 8.
